About Healing for Hearts

Healing for Hearts is about sharing the journey from survivor to success, from victim to victor, from brokenness to wholeness.
Each of us is injured by the hard things in life. Some of us have less serious wounds, while others have very severe ones. In a way, the degree of trauma and injury doesn’t matter because the process of learning new truths to replace lies, forgiving and healing is the same.

I myself am an adult survivor of chronic childhood trauma, including abuse an medical treatment. The road from a broken, frightened child to adulthood has been long and challenging, sometimes heart-wrenching. My hope is that stories and lessons from my own journey will encourage and help others.

I have included a story I am still writing on the page called, “Five Sisters.”  I don’t know if it will ever be good enough to publish outside of my blog, but I invite you to read it and leave a comment.

May each person who visits this blog find some bit of wisdom, humor, empowerment or solace.

PS:  I also have two other blogs:

I invite you to visit them as well.

  1. Thank you Hannah for joining up with Freedomborn it is very much appreciated, I will look forward to our sharing on both our Blogs, you do indeed have heart beauty and much Godly wisdom in knowing forgiveness is needed.

My life has also presented much Abuse both as a Child and as an Adult and even now I’m in a Storm. I will leave a link below about my Childhood but I will share that I do have deep inner Joy today as a Christian, this does not mean I’m Happy Clappy all the time or that I agree with the evil and Satan’s deception in this World, this grieves and saddens me as it does God but it does mean that I have great heart assurance that I don’t walk through the Storm alone and that we are greatly Loved as the Scripture below confirms.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression you will not be burned up the flames will not consume you for I am The LORD, your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of Peace and not of evil, to give you a Future and a Hope.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of Men.
